There are armed guards on the way back into England from France. Why, then, did not one person check our passports? Strange… And now I have to pack for my trip to the point just past nowhere tomorrow. The map actually does have dragons flying over where we’re going…

Ooh, no entries all week.
Ooh, no entries all week. I am back at work, ploughing through a design for a new project. (Work on the old project continues, but by other people ) After my brief episode of thrill-seeking in Cyprus, I am kind of seriously thinking about this for my next endeavour. (Apparently I need to lose some weight first…)

IMHO, Beckham wouldn’t have played that well had he been on from the start – he’s like that… Fergie isn’t in that job by chance, you know. Day off tomorrow for sofa delivery – I hope. No lie in though… between 7 and 1 they said – fantastic… :-/

It’s friday. It’s the afternoon. I know! Let’s do a release! After the memory upgrade made a bit of difference, but not enough, Binky had a full re-install last night, and seems happier for it. Now then, I wonder if I can get Sun One Studio running a bit quicker than a lame duck now?

Hang on… 4:50 already? Where’d the day go? Bitchy SQL work today… some (failed) ETL troubleshooting – problem being somewhere I hadn’t even looked at… a bit of HTML. I took pictures of the hire car before dehiring in case they try to pull the ‘You damaged our car’ trick again. England tonight – best guess is 2-1 to Turkey. That’ll please the kebab shop man.

Friday! A whole two days off. Again. I could get used to that. Again. Documentation is the order of the day today. And then starting on the mountain of changes required… nice. Thinking about a trip somewhere hot and sunny in May. Should be nice.
