Well… what a shortlived stint of regular posting! 
I suppose that you could infer from the lack of posts that not much is going on. I’m still working on the same project at work (SOA, J2EE, ESB… all fully buzzword compliant), and we’re still in the process of buying that house. We have a meeting with our solicitor tomorrow to go through the documents and make sure we’re happy with everything. We’ve decided to arrange for a sparky and a central heating engineer to go and check out the relevant systems before we commit too much more money (i.e. every spare penny for the rest of our working lives… ho hum). Not that there’s anything obviously wrong, but the wiring’s not been touched since the early 70s when the house was built, and we’re told the boiler’s not been serviced since it was installed 5 years ago.
