I had to go to a meeting in Hemel yesterday. Our building is quite close to the Buncefield Oil Depot, the place that blew up last December. I drove back through the neighbouring industrial estate, and was quite shocked by what I saw; signs saying “CAUTION DEBRIS AND UNSTABLE BUILDINGS”, half demolished buildings, and ruined cars. It looks like a warzone.
In other news, I’ve just installed a new ADSL modem/router, which should improve the availability of this server. (OK, the real reason is that the patchy connectivity was giving me problems playing PGR3, so I had to get it fixed!
)

I had to go around to a mates house to sort his PGR on the 360 – all sorted now? Basically paint the inbound high ports it uses directly onto the xbox and give it a static … yeah, like you need telling
I assume the issue you were having was waiting all week for a connection to a game?
Hey – and while I am at it more Kitty and Kaboo please!
We are currently awaiting the arrival of Sion and Jess as of 6pm Saturday 8th July – we are house prepped, and bracing ourselves for much ‘meewing’.
It was more to do with only getting an ADSL connection for 5 minutes at a time. And then the router would lock up completely and need rebooting. New one seems ok – 97 hours and counting
Kitty and the remarkable colour changing Kaboo will re-appear shortly…
