After the memory upgrade made a bit of difference, but not enough, Binky had a full re-install last night, and seems happier for it. Now then, I wonder if I can get Sun One Studio running a bit quicker than a lame duck now?

And…
And Binky makes the leap up to 256Mb of RAM, thanks to those nice people at crucial. That’s a 100% improvement, and means that there’s actually some memory left to do stuff in after Windows has finished booting. Which is nice. Question – why isn’t the memory slot under a nice little flap somewhere? Why is it UNDER THE KEYBOARD? Operation performed with little hassle though. All is well.

Hang on… 4:50 already? Where’d the day go? Bitchy SQL work today… some (failed) ETL troubleshooting – problem being somewhere I hadn’t even looked at… a bit of HTML. I took pictures of the hire car before dehiring in case they try to pull the ‘You damaged our car’ trick again. England tonight – best guess is 2-1 to Turkey. That’ll please the kebab shop man.
