I thought I read ages ago that a required reboot would count as a bug in new versions of Windows. Or am I imagining that? A new installation of XP needs approximately 2 evenings of continual restarts to get up to date. And that is just plain frustrating. Oh, and WPA? Heard of it. Apparently, re-installing windows on a new motherboard and cpu doesn’t require re-activation. Hehe.

New PC bits (motherboard, cpu and case) have been delivered and are ready for me to collect on the way home tonight. An evening of installation nightmares and WPA hassle in store, I suspect. Some Christmas shopping done. Drawing complete blanks in so many places. Help me out, people!

Someone reads this every day!! Must add entries more frequently… must add entries more frequently… Err, my PC’s died… RIP. So it looks like me and Mr Egg will be paying a visit to Mr Scan. It was on the cards anyway, but now it seems I will have to buy a little bit more. Ho hum.

Ooh, long time since the last entry. Course last week was ok, although the travelling sucked. Spurred me on to do some completely abstract coding, which has definitely been done better before. But that’s not the point. Various webcam and PowerBuilder tasks this week.

Oh dear… It had to happen I suppose… A random purchase at the weekend has lead me to put this monstrosity up. Oh, and you’ve probably already noticed my sad gear section, yes? Thought so…

Wow… Friday again. If all has gone to plan I should be joining the likes of Garry and Ant on the daily trek into the ‘citah’ (what what) for a week off^H^H^Htraining course next week. Woohoo. Today holds some web development, documentation, team meeting and then home. And then beer. Woohoo. Again.
